Information vs Knowledge
We all know that there are numerous things that a person can learn during this lifetime. This knowledge can be either about this world or that of religion. All the knowledge that we gather is from various sources that are available to us. It can be through a teacher in school or colleges, from religious scholars, or through books, media, or internet, etc.
I define this knowledge as "information" that we gather from various sources. On the basis of this information, we live our life, we pray, and do whatever we can.
However, the idea about getting pure knowledge is lost in this era of information gathering. A person with more information is considered to be a learned man. All the people of this world are working towards gathering information. I do agree that gathering of information is important to survive in this world and to earn a leaving. However, this knowledge will not help in the life hereafter (once we die).
I am writing this blog for people who are in search of pure knowledge that comes from the divine - the pure truth.
If you want to know how to learn the art of getting pure knowledge, you should be prepared to un-learn what you have already learnt. Then, sit with me with a clean slate. I promise that you will experience the truth. (It would depend on your sincerity and truthfulness of your heart.)
This knowledge is not just words or sentences or tales about various big figures of our religion, but it also gives you the sense of experience.
On of the famous sayings of Hazrat Khwaja Banda Nawaz Gesu Daraaz Rehmatullah Alehe is
Muh se kaha shakar toh zubaa ko nahi maza
Jis ne chakkha zubaa par lazzat wohi liya
Translation: A person who chants the name of sugar will not get the taste of it on his tongue. However, the one who tastes the sugar on his tongue will surely experience what the sweetness is.
Your's Sincerely,
Khaak Paye Hazrat Peer Fehmi
Khwaja Shaikh Muhammad Feroz Shah Qadri Chishti Iftekhari Shuttari Peer Afi Anhu
